I am still taking my alternative Supplements (80 pills per day) thanks to all you generous donations. I have joined the free WELL-FIT Cancer group at the SB Athletic Club and attend it 3 times a week. My Dr.s are all feeling great about my progress and treatment. Dear Friends, Mom's and Families --
So sorry about the long delay in getting my Blog out to you. I first want to thank you all for all your prayers, love and support--- they have made all the difference and I am sooo Blessed and at peace. I know that my recovery has been greatly due to all of YOU. I am so grateful for all you have done and are still doing. It is so wonderful to hear from you bye phone-email- and when I meet you on the street and in the stores. Please pass on how well I am doing. I stay busy working activity on my recovery. I take 2 Chemo's- one at home by mouth and one at Sansum Clinic once a week- I have had 24 of these treatments so far. I work hard at my food program to fight the Cancer and to gain weight--so far I have gained back 20 lbs--which was our goal.
I also ride my indoor bike an hour a day. At this time I have been given great reports from my Sansum Dr's and my Alternative Doctors from the Block Center for Alternative Cancer Treatment Center. My Cell count continues to do down, my weight again is up and I have no pain (take no pain pills). Mainly I feel very well - I just need more rest then I use to. I feel very blessed to be feeling so well- My Husband and my children have been wonderful. And all of my friends and families have provided the love, prayers and support that has blessed me with my healing and strong recovery. I still need to keep on with my recovery treatment but I can do so due to all your Love and Support. Keep in touch-- I love to heard from you-- send pic's too.
All my Love and Blessings to you,
Dear
Family and Friends,
I have created this website to let you know that I have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am currently undergoing new experimental treatments and I am hopeful that they will have good results. While I do have insurance, it does not cover all of the medical fees, which are steadily mounting. As a result, I am not able to afford all of the medical costs for my treatments. I realize that we have all been impacted by this difficult economy, but I would be so grateful for any help that you could give me at this time. I know that God has a plan for my life and I am trusting that good will come out of this hard time. If you feel that you can donate to my medical fund, the information regarding that is listed below.
To make a donation, go into any Santa Barbara Bank & Trust or mail them a check payable to Laura Sobell. The account is subtitled “Medical Account”. The last four digits of the account number are 6757. If you have any problems or questions concerning this, call the Carpinteria Branch of Santa Barbara Bank & Trust at 805-684-4566 and they will be able to assist you. Anyone there should be able to help with this.
If you would like to mail in donations, please send them to:
Santa Barbara Bank and Trust
5420 Carpinteria Ave.
Carpinteria, CA 93103
Thank you so much for your donations, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time. I am so very grateful to you all for your love, concern, and most importantly, friendship.
Love to all,
